The name Riff Off DOES imply guitar is involved, but that about all there is to it being anything even remotely similar to Guitar Hero other then the notes coming downward. Otherwise, it's completely DDR with arrows trying to match with the music.
I agree with everyone when I say it was highly unresponsive. Try to fix that... Make it a bit more flashy, add whole songs.
SOAD became stupid and annoying. I liked them before they were popular, when they played stuff like this. Now all I hear about is their new songs which suck.
